RecallCheck

RecallCheck allows Android based mobile phones with cameras to scan barcodes of food products and automatically retrieve recall notices from the web site of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the specific product. We read every recall notice added to our database, and often contact firms to get UPCs ( the number encoded in a barcode) when a UPC number isn't included in the recall notice.
